The Goal: For this project, I wanted to build community, encourage togetherness, and make an unfamiliar city feel more like home while also making sure that more people had access to the various events that happen on campus.
What I Would do Different: I think that the face that’s with the Noisi main logo isn’t as strong as it could be, and I think that this project would’ve benefited from placing some of the promotional posters around campus to get more feedback from students.
Programs Used: Figma, AI, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photosop
In this class, our professor made it a requirement that we utilized new tools such as AI in our work like image or text generation. Its intended purpose for Noisi was for ideation. Additionally, this project stemmed from some close friends of mine not knowing about various art sales that occurred on campus because there were no flyers in their departments that made mention of it. Being an art student I was able to easily see any art events that would happen either from word of mouth, flyers being pinned to the cork board, or from professors.
The biggest part of this project was to make a working prototype on Figma to show how this project could actually work if an app for it was ever created. Showing various screens the Noisi app prototype was intended to be very customizable to the person using the app and provide them with information about events they have interests in.
